We are the UK's leading type 1 diabetes charity

We are committed to eradicating type 1 diabetes. And until the day we find the cure, we work to improve the lives of those affected by type 1 diabetes in three ways:

Research

We invest in world-class research to find a cure faster and to improve treatments and prevention.

Support

We support and connect both people living with the condition and parents of children diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.

Advocacy

We advocate for better treatment via the NHS, including access to type 1 tech for everyone who wants to use it.

Help us make a difference

Without the generosity of people like you, our work would not be possible. Together, we want to see a world without type 1 diabetes. Join Team JDRF and help support our mission by taking part in one of our challenges:

Women Climbing 1 for Type 1

Climb 1 for Type 1

Come together and climb towards a world without type 1 diabetes. Join Team JDRF as we take on the highest peak in the UK, Ben Nevis, on 17 August 2024.

One Walk

One Walk is back for 2024 with great locations across the UK to choose from. Let's come together, have fun, and raise awareness of the amazing type 1 community.
